Just like 2015, year 2016 is promising to start with a big bang as some of the leading phone makers are set to release smartphone after smartphone and gadget after gadget. Lenovo is promising to start the year 2016 on a high note after it announced that it will be launching its Lenovo K4 Note on 5th of January.
The giant tech company has officially posted a teaser on its Twitter handle, confirming that its next device to grace the market is the Lenovo K4 Note and adding that the smartphone will be coming with a 3GB RAM, making it a real-time upgrade from the Lenovo K3 that sports 2GB RAM. The device will be officially launched in India on January 5 2016.
We may have seen lots of leaked images claiming to be the true image of the Lenovo K4 Note, but its real image as released on the company’s Twitter handle hinted that the device will be coming with a metallic frame and a fingerprint scanner that will likely be fixed on the rear of the device. Teasers have also added that in addition to its 3GB RAM, the smartphone will be sporting a 32GB internal storage capacity but we are not sure if the company plans releasing the device in variants of different ROMs. Teasers hinted that the smartphone will be powered by MediaTek Helio X10 processor.
Apart from its RAM, it’s ROM and its processor, Lenovo has been really good at concealing many other details regarding the smartphone. We took time to look at the Lenovo K3, and we found that Lenovo could be planning to fit the new smartphone with a larger screen that beats the 5.5-inch Full HD display that the K3 has. The K3 sports a screen with 1080x1920 pixels resolution and 401ppi pixel density. The Lenovo K3 also features a 4G network and its runs on Android Lollipop 5.0 that’s fitted with its own Vibe UI. The Lenovo K3 is 152.6x76.2x7.99mm in size and it weighs 150gms. Judging by these sleek features, the Lenovo K4 Note could be coming as a show stopper in January.
The Lenovo K3 is being comfortably powered by a 64-bit 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6572 processor that’s all coupled with a 2GB RAM. Looking at some of the features we saw on the recently launched Meizu M1 Note, we can’t help but conclude that it is really identical to the Lenovo K3 smartphone.
Speaking of the camera on the Lenovo K3, the Smartphone sports a 13MP rear facing camera that’s fitted with a dual-LED flash and it also has a 5MP front-facing camera and each of its cameras come with autofocus. The smartphone also comes with a 16GB internal storage unit and a microSD card slot which makes it easy to expand the memory with maximum 32GB. The device comes with Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and Bluetooth connectivity options and it sports an additional 3000mAh capacity battery that’s accompanied by a fast-charge feature.
If the Lenovo K3 could come with this features, only time will tell how much more we would see on the Lenovo K4 Note.
