It may be months before we can expect to see the next generation of the Motorola Moto X, in fact, we just received the third generation of the Moto X, but the anticipation is really high on our part, we just want to know what more Motorola will be dishing out for us. Well, the rumors hasn’t stopped, they have continued to buzz louder, and this time around, the Motorola Moto X’s next generation device may be on its way out with some new features.
The Moto X we received this year missed out on the fingerprint sensor that has been a selling point of Smartphones being released these days; one such Smartphone is the Google Nexus. The Motorola Moto X fourth generation will undoubtedly be released in 2016 and leaks also showed that it will be coming with a heat pipe that will allow for passive cooling at the back panel. It was also discovered that the device will be sporting a metal frame design that looks like finished wood furnishing. The leak also revealed that the Moto X 2016 edition may be coming with a fingerprint scanner.
TechWeb also claimed that Motorola will likely employ a heat pipe, making it possible to use the Smartphone and worry less about over-heating problems as the heat pipe is well equipped to self-cool the Smartphone panel. The Smartphone may be coming with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset which is known to have overheating problems, so Motorola may be planning a solution to the heat causing processor after-all. The website also predicted that Motorola will be releasing its Moto X in the second quarter of next year.
After adding a liquid cooling technology on its Lumia 950 XL, Microsoft may have encouraged Motorola to also try finding a solution to the persistent heat problems that most devices experience. In contrast to the heat pipe, the liquid cooling technique cools down the panels and system of the Smartphone; it also cools the chipset components, making it possible to enjoy a long lasting Smartphone with the right cooling system.
In another rumor, Tipster claimed that the Moto X 2016 edition may sport a fingerprint scanner, but it also stated that some other software specs of the Smartphone can be really hard to predict, so we may have to wait until Motorola gives a solid proof that it’s working on the 2016 edition of the Moto X. The position of the fingerprint scanner is still unknown as some Smartphones have their fingerprint scanners on the rear while some have these scanners on the front of the Smartphone.
An image which was released some time ago was said to be the image of the Motorola Moto X (Gen 4); looking at the image, we discovered that the heat sink on the Smartphone looks identical to that on the image of the rear panel. Motorola will be giving us more leaks on its new Smartphone, we should just sit, cross our fingers and see how Motorola personally announces the birth of its Moto X 2016 edition.
