In less than a month, Lenovo has hit out at its competitors twice, releasing two new Smartphones with sleek features. The Smartphones have boasted of some of the latest specs we can hope to see on any Smartphone. After its Vibe K4 Note was launched in India, the tech makers have said that we should be expecting something new, but they didn’t suggest that we will be seeing something new so soon.
The Lenovo K5 Note is coming as the successor to the Lenovo Vibe K4 Note which has enjoyed a cool ride in the market so far. We compared this new device to the Vibe K4 Note that was released in India some weeks back and we saw some similarities, but the similarities were not as much as the differences we found on the Smartphones. One of the main differences is the front-facing dual stereo speakers we have on the Lenovo Vibe K4 Smartphone that is missing on the Lenovo K5 Note Smartphone. Another major difference is the plastic-built back cover of the Lenovo Vibe K4 Note to the metal-built Lenovo K5 Note.
The new Lenovo K5 Note comes with a 5.5-inch screen that is fitted with a Full HD 1920×1080 resolution. The Smartphone also comes with the newly released Helio P10 octa core processor that is clocked at 1.8 GHz. The processor comes coupled with Mali-T860 GPU and a 3GB of RAM. The Smartphone also sports a 16GB internal storage capacity and it sports a microSD slot that makes it easy to upgrade the memory. The microSD slot can only contain a microSD card of maximum 128GB. These features are quite identical to those of the Lenovo Vibe K4 Note that sports a 2GB RAM.
Talking of its camera, the Smartphone comes with a 13MP rear-facing camera that has a Phase Detection Auto Focus and a dual tone LED flash feature. The Smartphone also sports an added 8MP front-facing camera that serves your selfie and video calling needs. The Smartphone sports a higher 3,500mAh battery capacity which is said to offer 34.2 hours of talk time while it can be on standby for 543.3 hours, blowing aside the Lenovo Vibe K4 Smartphone that only has a 3,300mAh battery capacity. In contrast to its predecessor, the Lenovo K5 Note comes with a fast charging feature.
The Smartphone comes with a dual SIM feature that supports 4G LTE and it also offers many other connectivity options, VoLTE being the most outstanding. The Smartphone also features three microphones that help reduce noise effects, and on the back of the Smartphone we find a fingerprint sensor that gives you that extra security when locking your phones, capturing images and when making online payments. The Lenovo K5 Note comes with a 1.5W speaker at the rear, and the speaker offers you the best sound mixtures when playing songs, videos and when enjoying your games. The speakers at the rear offer you a support for Dolby Atmos Surround System.
The Lenovo K5 Note runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 that comes overlaid with VibeUI. The giant tech company promised that the Smartphone will be receiving upgrades to the Android Marshmallow 6.0 OS in the next few weeks. The device is said to be available in gold and silver colors.
