The Mobile World Congress 2016 may have ended, but its footprints are left on our minds. The giant technology event has proved to be one of the most consistent and one of the most sought after by mobile phone makers.
Even before the event was kick-started, giant tech and consumer electronics makers have either released their devices or given us hints that the Barcelona show would be the launching ground for their devices. Well, the world congress has come and gone, and we will be sharing one of the many cool devices that saw the light at the Mobile World Congress some days back.
The Huawei MateBook comes from the giant tech and consumer electronics maker, Huawei. It sports some cool features and its technical specifications are simply top-notched. This two-in-one 12-inches Windows tablet will be a real challenger to Microsoft’s own Surface Pro 4. The Quad HD screen is 2160×1440 pixels in resolution and its screen-to-body ratio has been clocked at 84 percent. It may be running on the Windows 10 Operating System, but it has the essence of a tablet.
In addition to its screen size, the device sports a slim 6.9mm thickness, almost the same as the iPhone 6 when compared. This proved to be a nice accomplishment if we judge by the thickness and the number of different specs and features that the tablet sports.
The MateBook is accompanied by a Huawei MatePen that gives you more control over that device. The sensor is super sharp, and it can detect over 2048 levels of sensitivity without slowing your device one-bit. The eraser mode makes it possible to make any possible corrections with ease.
Looking inside, the Huawei MateBook comes with 4GB RAM, 8GB LPDDR3 and an additional 512GB high-speed SSD. The device sports a 6th Gen Intel Core M7 Dual-Core processor that’s clocked at 3.1GHz. It doesn’t get too hot to handle as its 8-layer heat transfer technology was gotten from the world’s top graphene synthetics.
Just like the Huawei Mate 8, the Huawei MateBook comes with a 360-degrees fingerprint sensor. But the Huawei MateBook entered the record books as the first device to come with a fingerprint sensor on the side, allowing you gain access to your tablet without stress. Ambient light sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope and hall sensor are some other sensors that accompany the fingerprint sensor.
The device comes with a front-facing 5MP camera and no rear-facing camera. The front-facing camera has fixed focus and it also sports a wide-angle lens. It comes with two different speakers and it has a USB 3.1 Type-C Port.
In the power room, the Huawei MateBook comes with a powerful 4410mAh battery that’s clocked at 7.6V. This adds to the power of the device as it will be allowing users enjoy a longer lasting device that achieves all the desired outcomes. The device doesn’t overheat, so the battery will be completely used to power your tablet. Some additions in the case include the earlier mentioned Huawei MatePen, a Huawei MateDock and Huawei MateBook portfolio keyboard.
The device sports some cool specs and features, we just hope Huawei continues with this, and hopefully, they would be able to beat competition from some other giants in the mobile arena.
