It’s not a person’s name; really, I don’t know if it’s someone’s name, but I am actually speaking of a Smartphone, Creo Mark 1. Well, it’s going to enter the market very soon and that means we could be eyeing a new inclusion in the already raging competition here in the Smartphone niche.
Smartphones from Samsung, Xiaomi, LG and many others have suddenly made us start setting a very high standard for Smartphone makers. In fact, any company that isn’t ready to beat them shouldn’t even come close because tech enthusiasts wouldn’t even look in its direction. But this Smartphone is cool (or so do I think) and it sports some amazing specs. It’s yet to be released, but there is nothing as good has wetting our appetites with these tidbits of information.
This Smartphone was revealed early in March 2016, and the makers have gone on to tell us that it will be sending feature updates over the air to users every month. Well, that will be cool, as having updates every month will make us never tire out in our use of the Smartphone.
The company revealed recently that it will be launching the Smartphone on April 13, the company released a teaser video that helped us get an insight into what to expect from the Smartphone, but the company didn’t reveal all the Smartphone’s specifications. From the teaser video, we could easily decode that the Smartphone will be coming with a curved metal edge while the back will be made of glass, just like the Samsung Galaxy S6.
The company also said that users will be able to have a custom engraving done on their own Smartphone, but they will be requesting the engraving and sending the desired texts to the company at the point of ordering for a unit of the Smartphone. The company also revealed that users will have the chance to write anything on the edge of the Smartphone with the maximum number of characters being 40.
“We put users at the centre of our updates that goes out every month, these updates will be letting users benefit from some features that have not been present on Android, and it will help them get the best from their gadgets.” Said Sai Srinivas, the CEO, and Co-Founder of Creo.
Srinivas continued, “Most of these feature updates will be entirely based on the suggestions and feedbacks we receive from our customers, so it’s going to be the first system were the views of the customers play a key role in updates and improvements. We will go through all the feature requests from customers and work on the best suggestions, but whatever the case may be, we will always ensure that a new feature is released every month.”
Well, from what we got from the company, we can only denote that it isn’t really coming to compete with specifications and prices alone, it wants to differentiate itself by bringing a system where users will be able to receive new features every month”.
The Smartphone will be running on the Android Lollipop 5.1.1, but Creo has promised to give users some features that are available on the latest Android OS. Well, since it’s coming on Android 5.1.1, we could be expecting a device that’s not less than 5-inch.
