Android users will be smiling as they read this article because, for those of us who are diehard game lovers, especially action and shooting game lovers, this comes as a real breakthrough. The Counter-Strike 1.6 is a pretty cool game and it’s just very interesting and easy to play. It now has a better gameplay, as you would be seeing the character change weapons and reconfigure weapons, and all that is going to come on Android.
This comes from a crafty developer who has a taste for nostalgia. This developer successfully brought the Counter Strike 1.6 to the Android market. The bad news, though, is that this game doesn’t come from Steam, neither have they licensed it, so if you should have any issue, you may have to face it yourself, but the fact that only one guy ported that game to Android deserves credit.
The developer is named, Alibek Omarov, and he first posted the game on Github, but you will need to have Counter-Strike 1.6 in your stream account to be able to play it on your Android device as some files contained in it will be needed.
If you don’t like using the touch controls in counter-strike, you may be able to play the game with a compatible gamepad and controller, and that would be doing a lot of magic for you. This will not be the first time to see such retooling of old games on Android, and we have always enjoyed some of these retooled games as we are able to enjoy a different level of gameplay altogether and it rekindles in us the love we had for the game. It’s also nice to see that nostalgia is in such a plentiful supply of hardware and software.
