China Powers the World’s Biggest Alien Hunting Telescope

Intro

You heard me right, they really want to catch aliens, and from the look of things, China wants to protect our world from possible alien invasions.

For many months, hundreds of engineers and builders went up a hill in southwestern China to build a giant telescope in the form of a bowl-shaped basin. And it was a sight to see, even the poor villagers were all forced to go and see what will someday become the latest invention the country can boast of.

This telescope has been called “WOK”, it is the world’s largest single-dish radio telescope and it began operation on Sunday, 25th September. It enjoyed nationwide television coverage as it was being commissioned after five long years of work. According to some professionals, this will be projecting China’s scientific ambitions deep into the universe, and it will be bringing back dramatic and interesting discoveries.
