Users of the iPhone 7 may not be ready to let the headphone jack go anytime soon, but it’s a simple fact that the headphone jack is gone, and if I would be realistic here, it’s gone for good, so not this iPhone and no other iPhone will be having the headphone jack, but it seems many users haven’t come to terms with that reality.
TechRax released a YouTube video that showed them drilling a hole in the new iPhone 7, and many concluded that Apple didn’t remove the headphone jack; some felt that the tech giant simply concealed it, so drilling a hole should help reveal the jack. Well, this video has caused iPhone 7 users to drill actual holes in their devices in search of the 3.5mm headphone jack which never existed.
The video asks users to clamp their devices in a place where the headphone used to get inserted and try creating their own 3.5mm hole. The video encourages users to get a 3.5mm drill and drill the spot where the headphone jack used to appear.
