Apple’s iOS 10, the operating system the company launched along with the iPhone 7s may not be working well with older devices as many may be expecting. A quick look on social media shows that some iPhone and iPad users ran into problems while installing the update. And many may not even know how to correctly carry out the update, resulting in many other issues; for this reason, Apple set up a support page to help users deal with this.
In a statement, Apple confirmed that some users were really having issues with the update as a result of an in-house problem, but it stated that the problem was resolved. According to the company, “we experienced a brief issue with the software update process, affecting a small number of users during the first hour of availability. The problem has been resolved and we now apologize to those customers who were affected. Any customer who was affected should connect to iTunes to complete the update or contact AppleCare for help.”
