If you remember, the Locky ransomware arrived on computers through a malicious macro in a Word document, but now, the ransomware is spreading very fast on social media. Clicking on an image thumbnail results in the automatic download of the Locky ransomware. Immediately the Locky ransomware is downloaded, the Locky code is immediately executed and it locks up all the files on your computer, after which it demands ransom.
