Many people are still struggling to get a 4G tech in place in their respective regions, but it seems Qualcomm now has something in place, something that’s surely capable of changing the way we use the internet, and that will be a 5G technology.
Qualcomm is already pushing to unleash 5G with Samsung, Nokia, Alcatel and many others. If there should be a 5G supportive mobile phone on the market, I guess half the hurdle is already conquered and all that remains is the release of the technology. Qualcomm took advantage of the CES 2017 to show us just what it’s capable of doing with 5G tech, why not come along as we share some of those with you?
Qualcomm CEO, Steve Mollenkopf did well to share some interesting tidbits in his keynote address at the gathering. He stated that 5G isn’t just an upgrade to 3G and 4G technologies, it’s a new ballgame in the area of mobile technology. He shared that 5G will be the key driver of the new age technology, and it will be placed alongside other technologies like AI, VR, AR, autonomous cars and connected townships.
