Electric cars will be the future of automobiles, and that can be seen in what companies like Tesla and the likes are doing on their cars. Samsung may have one of the best solutions available for electric cars, and that’s a battery that does so well that you just need a 20 minutes charge to drive for 500km.
This may not be available until sometime at the beginning of the next decade, but from what we have seen thus far, battery technologies of the future will be as astonishing as it can ever get. Samsung’s lithium ion and renewable energy division, Samsung SDI, provides power for BMW, and that shows the potential it has to develop better energy solutions. The company announced this new battery earlier yesterday, and it didn’t mince words in revealing its sleek features.
This also comes as a pretty much advancement to what the average fully charged Tesla Model S offers, and instead of stuffing cars up with more weight with the addition of a powerful and heavy battery, the consumer electronics maker hopes to deliver Smartphone-like fast-charging, so consumers can travel over a longer distance without having to worry about topping up. The fast charge feature means you would be able to charge the car while sitting with a cup of coffee and that’s just awesome.
