Just as we are awaiting the arrival of the iPhone 8, we also need to remember Apple’s biggest competitor in the smartphone business, Samsung. Samsung has maintained a very low key ever since the problems with the Galaxy Note 7, the recalls and the cancellation of the smartphone model. Well, we just got hands on fresh rumors from reliable gadget leaker Evan Blass, and this rumor suggests that the Galaxy S8 will be coming with a huge 6.2-inch display.
The Galaxy S8 is expected to be the larger of the two models that the South Korea-based tech and consumer electronics maker will be announcing in March. We expect that the company continues its tradition of announcing its Galaxy S devices around that period of the year.
Devices like the iPhone 7 Plus, Galaxy S7 Edge and Google Pixel XL are quite large, coming with about 5.5-inches and 5.7-inches displays, and many device manufacturers including Samsung had drawn the line for quite some time. It appears that Samsung will be bringing a larger screen on the Galaxy S8 to help boost its marketability against a device like the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 8.
