Your Shoe Would Be Way Smarter Than You in 30 Years

Well, that’s a fact, or should I have said that’s what we have been told? Well, whichever it is, it could actually be possible, and I will love to see it, and hopefully I would still be on earth then.

I didn’t mean that to be offensive, and that’s obviously why I have addressed it to myself up until now. Masayoshi Son believes that robots will outnumber humans and have a higher intelligence compared to humans in three decades from now, and that’s a pretty great dream.

The remarks were made at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, and the chairman and CEO of the Softbank group clearly outlined some of his plans for the coming years. In his words, “one of the chips in our shoes will be faster than our brain. We will be less than our shoes, and we are stepping on them.”

Many have shown their disdain for artificial intelligence, and it’s not so hard to see powerful men like Stephen Hawking, Bill Gates and Mark Cuban speak on the impact artificial intelligence will be having on man. In a new statement, Mark Cuban, owner of Dallas Mavericks shared a tweet saying, “automation is going to cause unemployment and we need to prepare for it.” Well, we really need to as things are now going pretty fast.
