Designs for the Boom and Roll Bluetooth speakers borrowed inspiration from a can of Pringles and a flying saucer respectively as the Ultimate Ears design team pulled resources together to make a bunch of bouncy Bluetooth speakers. The $100 Wonderboom which is the latest model from UE is widely expected to be very different from the traditional component portal shape.
It is safe to say the model looks much like a small barrel or shares a close resemblance with watermelon wrapped with hundreds of rubber bands around it. Besides that, the design is colorful, cheap and simply beautiful.
Everything you would want from a UE speaker is well embodied in the Wonderboom. It is not very different in size from a can coke, with dimensions of 105mm long and 95mm wide. Wonderboom produces 360-degree sound, with plenty of bass output; its IPX7 waterproof rating (which makes it float in water for about 30 minutes) means it could be used in any environment and you shouldn’t be having any problems with your speaker pet.
More details from the company revealed that it has up to 10 hours of battery life and you can stretch the length of the Bluetooth connectivity for as long as 100-foot.
