In a world where we really don’t have a shortage of sports cars, it’s just interesting to see how many of us react when new sports cars hit the road. For the most part, some of us may have a not-too-interested disposition towards these rides, but that’s only going to be until we meet one that simply beats our imagination. Even without going into full details, the Porsche 911 Carrera is everything you would expect a sports car to be as it comes with some of the best features and designs you have ever seen. The 911 can be called an odd-looking job and you wouldn’t be far from the truth, especially if we remember its bulbous rear and the bub-like headlights. But if we are to compare the 2017 version of the 911 to earlier versions, not only will we agree that it’s the best-looking of all, but also that the company has gone pretty far. If we are to compare the rear of this ride to earlier versions, we will quickly notice that it’s a bit longer than what we must have seen in the past. The company has also maintained its 50-year-old design of having the motor at the rear of the car, which if judging by today’s standard, is quite unusual. The only meaning I can read to this is that the motor position makes the car unique, it makes it stand out from other sports cars. Users will be able to extend and retract the rear spoiler manually, and when at higher speeds, it has been designed to extend automatically. The reason behind this would be to improve the downforce and handling of the vehicle, and that’s pretty cool. The car comes with dual exhaust, the car sports a flat-six engine, 370 horsepower along with 331 pound-feet. The headlights have now evolved to something more stylish, more aerodynamic, but the company still tried to have that 911 visual signature on it as boldly as possible. The car now sports a back seat, so every user will be getting a rich taste of versatility. On the ground, the car has a 20-inch Carrera S “Platinum Satin” wheel, while not forgetting to dress it with ventilated discs and stout brake calipers.
